Morgan Freeman appeared to fall asleep during a TV interview–but he has another explanation, and it involves Google
The 75-year-old actor walked the carpet of the New York premiere of “Now You See Me” Wednesday night, and woke up to do a full day of press Thursday. One outlet, “This Morning,” a Q13 morning show which airs on Fox’s Seattle-Tacoma affiliate, caught Freeman napping on the job.
During the four minute taping, Freeman looked as if he was drifting off as his colleague, Michael Caine, spoke about magic, the core theme of the Summit Entertainment distributed film.
“This business, it’s exhausting,” Freeman told the Journal in Los Angeles last year.
A publicist for Mr. Freeman emailed the following comment regarding the interview. “I wasn’t actually sleeping. I’m a beta tester for Google Eyelids. I was merely taking the opportunity to update my Facebook page.”
