The latest celebrity to jump on the "Gangnam Style" bandwagon is no stranger to the stage.
But on Monday, Britney Spears was schooled in the intricate skill of the "invisible horse dance" by non other than Korean rapper Psy himself on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
"The mindset of this dance is (to) dress classy and dance cheesy," the bespectacled performer reassured Spears after DeGeneres worried that the singer's form-fitting dress wouldn't allow her to gallop properly.
DeGeneres' audience cheered appreciatively.
Spears, who was on the show with fellow "X Factor" judge Simon Cowell to promote the premiere of the hit Fox talent show, looked bewildered when Psy, clad in his trademark tux and tennis shoes, appeared onstage.
The talk show host explained that Spears had previously tweeted that she wanted to properly learn the dance.
And DeGeneres looked so thrilled to learn the dance herself that she forgot to properly introduce Psy, prompting the rapper to interject at one point: "Can I introduce myself, and not just dance? I'm Psy from Korea."
"Psy from Korea, we love you!" DeGeneres grinned.
The eccentric performer's music video has been going viral on YouTube, with more than 147 million views by Tuesday afternoon.
Psy (real name Park Jae Sang) even performed at the MTV Video Music Awards last week, and has most recently been signed onto Scooter Braun's Schoolboy Records label.
